*SOUP*er Saturday is here again!

We call it *Soup*er Saturday because of all the yummy fall soups we will have for lunch. We hope you will join us and bring your friends. Lunch will be available from 11:30-12:30. Crafting and classes will take place from 9:00-2:00. The 1st class will be taught by Cami Dabb from 10:30-11:30. She will teach us how to make "Hot Chocolate on a Stick." Anne Thompson will be teaching a class on "Simplifying the Holidays" from 1:00-2:00.
You will find a craft sign-up sheet at the bottom of this post if you would like to print it out yourself & bring it to church or drop it off at Juliet Roxburgh's home. Otherwise, sign-up sheets can be found in the Relief Society binders that are passed around during class. Displays will be available in the kitchen during second and third hour at church. Please get your order and money to Teresa Quigley or Juliet Roxburgh by October 16th at the latest. Make checks payable to Juliet Roxburgh. We are so excited to see you all there.

This darling Birthday board is very fun and easy to make. Plan at least an hour or more. We will stain it with Tuscan colors (Brownish) and allow to dry. YOu may stain it darker at home if you prefer. You may bring your own paint if you have a color you were hoping for. We are keeping it fairly neutral so it will match anything. After staining, you will add vinyl stickers and tac on the ribbon. Then you will modge podge circles with matching scrapbook paper, glue a clip to the back and clip your circles on the ribbon for each month. Each person will get 60 circles. We can tell you where to get more or we will have extra at the activity if you like. Melissa Sloan will be there to guide you through the process.

$7 for set of three Candy Holders & $5 for each Pumpkin.

These cute candy holders are SUPER easy. Juliet Roxburgh will spray paint them black or white for you before super Saturday. You will need to only need to glue the mason jars to their stands and hot glue the ribbon around the bottom of the jar. Now it's ready to take home. Fill with candy, potpouri, shells or whatever filler fits the month of the year. This is a five minute project.

Pumpkins may look sewing intensive, but no sewing machine machine is required. That part of it will be done ahead of time for you. Just a beginner hand stitch my 8 year old did with 30 second instruction. Super easy project. Big bang for your buck. Smaller pumpkins in the store are going for $14 right now. Pick you fabric, sew the end, stuff, pull, add button and yarn. BAM! it's done. Juliet was intimidated by this project and made her first pumpkin in 10 minutes. She will be there to guide you through it step by step.
